I truly love Nature and from the time I was a child always believed that all living things were imbued with spirit, and I have taken that thought and incorporated it into these unique and beautiful wearable art pieces.
This pensive Dryad Spirit Pendant measures 3"L x 3"W, handsculpted using Kato translucent clay. The imprint is of a Sycamore leaf on which I have hand painted the face of a tree spirit awaiting the advent of Autumn; and in myth the Sycamore represented protection and favor.
Done using watercolors and mica powders, her eyes follow you from whatever position you are in. The Chinese symbol for the word "autumn" is etched and done with 18kt gold leaf"
